Nicer, a startup that wants to “supercharge”
travel advisors by augmenting their capabilities with artificial intelligence,
has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding.

The round was led by Trip Ventures, whose
general partner Carlos Garcia is one of Nicer’s advisors.

The startup also has
several other travel industry leaders as advisors, including Microsoft global
director of travel Shane O’Flaherty, Brook Bay Capital founder Gilad Berenstein,
Global Travel Collection president Angie Licea and former Altour chief operating
officer Lee Thomas.

Founded in 2023, Nicer provides travel advisors
with tools that use AI and other modern technologies to help them make their
work more efficient and more profitable.

Through its partnerships with advisors
and brands, Nicer said it provides travelers with exclusive access and perks
for trips planned through a combination of AI and human expertise.

“Travel is a trillion-dollar industry plagued by inefficiencies that cost
time and money,” said co-founder and CEO Ragan Stone, a travel
advisor.

“Nicer solves this problem by harnessing the power of AI to craft highly
customized experiences while preserving the personalization and insights of
travel advisors. We are thrilled to have the support and confidence of our
investors, who share our vision of introducing more travelers to the benefits of
working with travel advisors.”
